|45. What other places have you visited within your country?
We used to drive our car to the Dalmatian coast during
holidays.
46. Where have you visited outside the country?
Italy, Austria, and the Adriatic coast.
Communications
47. What types of media are you exposed to? How do you
get local and world news? Does it matter to you?
Lokman listens to Radio Sarajevo and Radio Belgrade most of
the day. He is the one in the family who knows why there is
no water and when the electricity will be back, but he never
comments about the political news or the war reports. He
doesn't take any sides or political views. He likes to hear about
international news.
48. How many radios, TVs, stereos, and VCRs do you own?
One radio, 1 TV.
49. What do you watch on TV, and for how many hours/day?
Whenever there is electricity, Lokman watches television and
recharges his radio batteries which are very expensive in
Sarajevo, and almost impossible to find.
50. How many telephones do you own?
None.
51. If you read, what do you read?
Lokman can always find something interesting in his Christiaan
Barnard Illustrated Medical Book. It gives a general view of
human body functions, illustrated with photographs and
drawings. He always reads a book before sleeping, even with
candlelight. Nedzad likes to read thrillers and cartoons. Nafja
and Arina also read books.
